Another big update!A handful of shops have sadly moved to the retired category. The blacklist index has been finally been expanded on as well.In other news, payment processors have increased their hostility towards freedom of expression. Itch.io has been forced to deindex or completely remove all of their adult video games, comics, and artworks. Steam has also been forced to remove a large portion of their adult video games. The point is, these payment processors will come for your favorite toy shops sooner than you think. They’ve already kicked adult artwork off of Etsy. There is nothing stopping them from going after the storefronts of adult creators.I sincerely urge you to visit Stop Paypros and MAKE A CALL at least once a week. The site provides easy templates to follow and a list of working customer service numbers. And on a larger scale, Western countries are coordinating a mass censorship and surveillance campaign on the internet. Here is an article that shows the status of internet censorship in your country. The UK recently passed OSA, which is blatantly tyrannical and sets a dangerous precedent for Western nations. If you are a UK citizen, please sign this petition and get in contact with your MPs. As for Americans, please refer to Bad Internet Bills and get in contact with your representatives.Don’t allow our rights to be trampled on without putting up a fight!

Big update time, sorry for the long wait! These past few months have been particularly nasty for all of us. Increasing censorship, a struggling economy, and the enshittification of social media platforms has hurt shops. Many have shut down, scaled back significantly, or disappeared altogether. Despite this, some new faces have emerged and old friends have returned. Give some love to Desert Island Toys, LoveMuscle Toys, Lust Demonics, Needful Fiends, Osseous Fantasy Design, Sensual Succubus, Smoll Dragon, and Gender Flow! Don’t forget to stay in touch with your favorite creators and small businesses. We are all struggling and we need each other. Here are links to reputable LGBT+, immigration/asylum, disability, free speech, reproductive healthcare, racial justice, and environmental justice charities. Please take care and hold your loved ones close. And most importantly, don’t give up!

The European Union will be implementing new General Product Safety Regulations on December 13th. In short, importing to the EU and exporting from the EU will become extremely expensive for small businesses.Hodgepodge Entourage, Erotic Effect, Loot Cave Toys, and a few others will be suspending /anticipate suspending business with EU countries due to the incoming price jump. Now is the best time to shop. Get your international goodies while Black Friday sales are still active and before the new GPSR goes into effect. My thoughts are with everyone. This month has been rough.EU Countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden

The House has no plans to take on the KOSA bill. Though KOSA may be dead now, that doesn’t mean it won’t come back! If you care about the human rights of yourself and others, please stay informed on dangerous bills like KOSA. Things will only get worse. Stay active in your communities and use your voice!

The Etsy ban has been finalized. Shops have left and many are in the process of building their own sites. I will update shop links as fast as I can.In relation to censorship against sexual expression, the Senate has just voted in favor of KOSA. If this bill passes the House, it could mean the end of all dong shops and worse. KOSA will remove your right to privacy. KOSA will effectively ban porn, erotica, sexual education, and LGBT+ resources from the internet. Please call or write to your representatives to oppose this unconstitutional and inhumane censorship bill ASAP.

Thank you for the suggestions and critiques! Navigation has been optimized and I have clarified some sections in the about page. A few more shops have been added to the list as well, and the blacklist is currently underway. And some unfortunate news. Etsy has announced that they will be prohibiting the sale of most sex toys, pornography, and the use of sexual language. This will go into effect on July 29th 2024. This will be devastating to many creators in the adult toy community and artists who specialize making mature work. I suggest you support 18+ shops on Etsy before the ban is put in effect. Alternatives to Etsy are not feasible for many, so I anticipate that this ban will force many creators to close their shops permanently.I’ve gathered a list of websites where you can safely sell your adult toys. Please keep in mind that most of these alternatives require varying amounts of fees and some have massive learning curves for building a storefront.Shopify

IndiemadeIf Etsy’s decision negatively impacts you as a buyer or as a seller, I urge you to write to your representatives, members of parliament, etc. I also suggest you support the Free Speech Coalition and Sexual Wellness Professional Alliance in their efforts to protect the human right to sexual expression.

The Dicktionary is a passion project site dedicated to cataloging active, retired, and rising creators in the adult toy community. With platforms becoming increasingly hostile towards creators who specialize in adult work, there needs to be a place where everyone can be found. Free from drama, cliques, borders and language barriers, I hope The Dicktionary will assist those in search for adult toy creators. If this project does well, I would love to build a more robust site in which visitors can use search functions to find specific creators that would be the best fit for their needs. For now, The Dicktionary is entirely maintained by one person- yours truly.
Who qualifies?
The Dicktionary is only focused on archiving individuals and groups who specialize in creating and/or designing sex toys. Creators of all languages and countries are welcome to be featured on this list. Although this archive primarily focuses on creatives who work with silicone, other materials such as glass, metal, or wood are allowed. Active shops must have a storefront in order to be featured in the open shops list. If you or someone you know would qualify to be a part of this list, please visit the contact page.
Who doesn’t qualify?
The only instances in which creators will be exempt from being featured is if they have stolen designs and/or have sites/accounts that display/promote illegal content. The Dicktionary will omit creators that use life casts of animals, advertise their work on forums promoting bestiality or pedophilia, or creators who are convicted sex offenders. Creators that do this will not be featured. Creators who use TPC, PVC, jelly, or any other combination of mystery substances are also exempt. Resellers, dropshippers, and stores who only do wholesale are not welcome here, either.
Disclaimers
I- As mentioned before, The Dicktionary’s cataloging will not be influenced by drama or cliquey motivations. Because of this, some creators featured on this site may have problematic histories. This includes harassment, tortious interference, unsafe toy designs, unsafe or undocumented flaws, bigotry, etc. Shop at your own risk!II- Please do not contact me to remove creators for any reason other than if a creator has done something listed in the disqualifying list. I will not honor requests for personal removal, either.III- Neither I nor featured creators gain any direct financial benefits from this archive. If that is to change, there will be a disclosure on financially affiliated creators.IV- Archiving is not endorsing. Archiving is not associating.V- The Dicktionary will not prioritize creators over others and it will not play favorites. All lists are in alphabetical order as a way to remain impartial to everyone featured. Creators who ask or attempt to bribe for special treatment will be removed from the archive.
